You’re carrying a lot: legislation changes, expectations from rental providers, and the day-to-day realities of property management.

Here are three simple practices you can start today:

1. 60-SECOND MICRO PAUSE 
Before opening your next email or answering the next call, close your eyes, place a hand on your chest and take three slow breaths.
Inhale through your nose, exhale a little longer than you inhale. This tells your nervous system, “We’re safe enough to calm down.”
2. ONE CLEAR BOUNDARY 
Choose a time today when you’ll close the laptop and step away from work, even if it’s just 10 minutes earlier than usual.
Your brain and body recover in micro-moments like this, not just on holidays.
 
3. NAME IT TO TAME IT
When you feel overloaded, quietly say to yourself, “Right now I’m feeling… (stressed / anxious / overwhelmed).” 
Simply naming the feeling begins to move you out of survival mode and back into clarity.
